At Aroma Catering, we have a deep passion for food and its ability to bring people together. Our founder, Joao , has always loved cooking and entertaining, which led to the creation of our catering business and private chef

Originally from Brazil, João studied nutrition, where he focused on specialised diets and food preparation techniques.

After graduation, João further satisfied his curiosity and desire to learn by travelling the world’s kitchens. Working in restaurants in Europe and America, he quickly mastered the methods and styles of several cuisines before finally calling Australia home.

Here in Australia, he has worked in many high profile restaurants including Pendolino, Bells at Killcare and the exclusive Pretty Beach House.

With Aroma Catering, he and his team now express their passion for food by delivering customised private chef experiences and event catering.
